Why good code health matters — in general, but especially in the fundraising process

Join us for a Tech Breakfast with Anders Fritz-Carlsen and Eric Järdemar from System Verification, and learn why Code Health is becoming a decisive factor in investment decisions.

Many software-based startups and scaleups underestimate the impact of poor code quality, or avoid addressing it altogether when talking to investors. That approach creates uncertainty, and investors do not invest in uncertainty.

In this breakfast talk, Anders and Eric break down what Code Health really means in a fundraising context, why technical debt often becomes a red flag during due diligence, and how companies that can demonstrate strong Code Health and low code debt stand out in competitive funding rounds.

This perspective is already well established in the US and UK and is supported by leading advisory firms such as PwC and McKinsey. In Scandinavia, however, many accelerator and growth programs still fail to put enough focus on Code Health. This session aims to close that gap.

Join us for coffee, clarity, and concrete next steps. Everyone is welcome—just make sure to sign up!
